When Users create a new Classification Model, they must choose which categories the model should be able to split. Users can choose from all the Categories available for the organisation, but whenever they don’t find the category they need among existing Categories, is it possible to create a new Categories in KAPTO and then associate them to the Classification Models as the existing ones.

Users can associate existing categories because Categories are extra Models fields.

How to Associate Categories with a Classification Model

Here is the step-by-step guide to associating categories with a Classification Model

1. After creating a new Classification Model, click Manage Model Categories.

2. Then, a new field will open with two columns: the left column contains all available Categories users can associate with the Classification Model; the right column lists categories you want to associate with the Model.  

3. There are two ways to move Categories from the left to the right column: by dragging the Categories from one column to another or double-clicking on the choosing category.

4. When you have put all the needed categories in the right column, click Apply button to apply chosen Category with Classification Model.
