Create a New Category

If none of the existing categories fit your needs, in this article, you can find how to create a new Category step by step.

If none of the existing categories fit your needs, Users can create a new category here. Consider the steps listed below to add a Document Category:

  1. Navigate to Management > Categories menu in the left Panel;  
  1. Next, to add a Document Category, press the plus
  1. button.  

  1. To proceed, provide a Name and Description for the document category. 

  1. Confirm your changes by clicking the Save Changes button. 

  1. The newly created document category will now be visible in the Document Category list, providing convenient access and quick reference.

  1. Congratulations, you have successfully created a new document category in KAPTO. 

After creating a document category, a notification popup will appear indicating that the category was successfully created. You can find the category listed under the Document Category section.

Note: You have the flexibility to add multiple document categories as required, allowing you to customise the categorisation of documents for training the model to classify them accurately based on the category to which they belong.
